Is French Immersion available near Greely?
Short answer
Castor Valley Elementary offers Early French Immersion and identifies Greely among the communities it serves. Metcalfe Public also lists immersion programs; the applicable school and entry point depend on the address, grade and current board arrangements.
As of · Updated
The OCDSB’s January 19, 2026 update sets September 2028 as the final Middle French Immersion intake, with continuation through Grade 8 for those cohorts.
Keep in mind. Confirm the designated school and current intake rules with the OCDSB locator and board; school-level program descriptions may lag board-wide changes.
